In this talk we will focus on the issues companies face when implementing a SharePoint solution, migrating from SPS 2003 to MOSS 2007, sizing the environment, network issues, considerations for laying out a knowledge network, disaster recovery, day – to –day operations and challenges, search/thesaurus issues, and desktop considerations. You will gain real world knowledge of 5 years experience using SharePoint.
Bio
Terry Yarnall is currently the manager of Desktop Solutions & Tools at Unisys supporting over 29,000 desktops. Prior to that Terry spent 10 years as an Infrastructure Architect focusing on Microsoft solutions for deployment within Unisys including Windows Servers, Exchange, MS Clustering, SharePoint 2003, MOSS 2007, TFS, SQL Server, Project Server, SCCM, Office deployments, Windows XP, Vista, and virtualization technologies.
