In this talk we will look at code that works but could be improved.  We will discuss why it needs improvement and work through several examples of doing exactly that using patterns, practices, and tools along the way.  An emphasis will be placed on the Single Responsibility Principle, Dependency Injection, Inversion of Control, and the Service Locator Pattern.
