Description
One of the more intriguing features of .NET 3.5 is LINQ, a technology allowing you to more easily work with various collections of data. These collections can be your own classes, XML, or data directly from SQL Server. Known as LINQ to SQL, it can make a developer's life easier but may also make many SQL DBAs quite upset. This session dives into how LINQ to SQL works, why your DBA might not like you for using it, and how to set things up so that you continue to follow "best practices" when querying data from SQL Server using LINQ to SQL.
